Shaping new ideas: a collaborative approach that turns projects into real technical solutions
Our shared technical approach is all about teamwork between designers, quality specialists and plastic material experts to turn an idea into a solution.
By combining deep technical know‑how, advanced tools and flexible design methods, we make sure every project starts off on the right foot. Research and development, together with co‑design and product industrialization, help us spot and solve typical feasibility and mass‑production issues before they even show up.
- Co‑design
The EPS technical team reviews the customer’s needs, gathers data and sets clear goals. Thanks to our engineering experience and modeling software, we develop concepts that are already optimized for feasibility, cost, and performance. Early evaluations of the plastic polymers give us a complete picture of the part’s technical and aesthetic outcome. This step is essential because it allows us to launch the project without a lot of revisions and potential issues.
- Mechanical development and DFM analysis
This is where the design work gets real. Structural simulations are integrated from the start. DFM analysis (Design for Manufacturing) helps us predict how the component behaves under load, identify weak points, and refine shapes and materials.
- Functional and aesthetic prototyping
Once the model is validated, we can produce prototypes using pilot tooling or 3D additive manufacturing. Prototypes help us check ergonomics and functionality. These technologies are also ideal for small batches or variable customized projects.
- Production
When the project moves into production, our mold workshop and molding department step in. With our in house setup, we manage different processes and adapt to the required volumes and project specifications.
- Testing and validation
Tools and samples undergo specific tests to validate each part internally. The quality team checks that every component meets the tolerances and specifications defined during the design phase, ensuring a consistent, reliable, ready‑to‑use result. The technical team can then meet again to review the outcomes and suggest improvements. Thanks to our six adjacent facilities and flexible production capabilities, we can respond quickly to market needs while maintaining high quality standards.
- Finishing and assembly
Every product is completed with attention to detail: surface finishing, required treatments and final assembly.
Looking ahead: Innovation Week
EPS organized Innovation Week, a full week dedicated to experimentation, collaboration, and the development of new technical solutions. Our technical team worked closely with customers and partners to highlight new technological trends and innovative engineering polymers. Workshops and working sessions showed how our integrated method can turn early ideas into concrete concepts and new projects. Innovation Week was a moment of exchange and it became a catalyst that strengthened our ability to respond to market needs by combining innovation, expertise and strategic vision.
Experience and method for shared results
Every step of the process is built on experience and method. That’s why EPS doesn’t just deliver a product, but we support each project throughout the entire journey that turns an idea into a concrete, high‑performing, industrializable technical solution.
