This goal is the driver in EPS in each business process. An usuful approach taken for choices aimed not only to reduce the environmental impact and to achieve an even greater energy efficiency but even to pursue social inclusion and respect.

OUR MANIFESTO FOR A SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Companies can’t be any longer been considered just an economical means but they are becoming the new centers of culture, training and meetings. Our responsability is to share technological and humanistic knowledge useful in spreading sustainability and acting with everything that can be reduced, reused and recycled.

We wish to link ethics with the well-being of people working in the company. The sustainable living is about the economy as much as the environment and our society. In EPS the sustainability path has been planned through three areas of value that combine business goals and sustainability aims.

RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

All manufacturing companies generate an impact on the environment. Our commitment is to measure the impact on the environment and adopt both long-term strategic and daily improvement actions. Plastic parts produced in EPS are durable and thought to have a long life. The focus is to produce with responsability making more efficient processes optimizing consumption and transforming waste into new resources which are reintroduced into the production chain.

RESPECT FOR PEOPLE

Companies are made up of people who, with their professionalism and passion, are an active part of a company’s success. Training, coaching and the sharing of professional values and practices are the basis of the personal and professional growth path that EPS designs for each employee. The real aim of EPS is the inclusion of the single in the team. Every company is aimed at people and the aim pursued by EPS is the maximum respect for the customer and his satisfaction thanks to the company team.

RESPECT FOR THE TERRITORY

Every company is well-integrated in a context which on the one hand is influencing and to other is influenced by. Our history talks about the story of a family of entrepeneurs able to develop the company while keeping its founding values and continuing with the Made in Italy proposal but even facing the market changes and production evolutions investing continuosly in the company and in activities aimed to the local and regional production growth.

EPS aims honestly and transparently to support and establish positive and proactive cooperations with the community and several local and institutional interlocutors.

RECYCLING

Plastic material can be mechanically recycled and if possible, immediately readmitted into the production cycle. We realized products completely with recycled material and offered them directly to customers.

REUSING

The handling of the semi -finished products along the whole EPS production chain takes place through plastic containers, which are cleaned and reused. Cardboard boxes have been replaced where and if possible and even the packaging reuse is promoted. We even activated the logistics service of logistical exchange of packages with our customers.

REDUCING

The digitalisation of processes, thanks to the new technologies adopted in EPS, made us innovating the information flow and dematerializing documents throughout the planning and control of the production process. After installing new and more performing machineries we have a greater control of the energy consumption.
